I’m an independent researcher trained in depth psychology, with an emphasis on community, liberation, and eco-psychologies. My work centers around interconnection, including regenerative food systems, creative placemaking and conservation. My projects are enriched by over 15 years experience leading communications for mission-driven organizations.

Community psychologists work within and alongside communities, as accomplices, holding a vision of equity and justice. The work is action-oriented and participatory, and we show up with practical tools, like asset mapping, program evaluation, and social network analysis.

Ecopsychologists recognize that ecological restoration is interconnected with psychological and social well-being. We work to restore fragmented ecosystems and promote environmental justice. We approach our work in many ways, from therapeutic to poetic.

Arts-based research helps gather, synthesize, and share knowledge. Creative work is a powerful partner for research—and especially suited for socially-engaged research, participatory work. For nonprofits, arts-based projects can communicate mission and strengthen community.
