Regenerative food storytelling
Our food, quite literally, is our life. Reconnecting to our own food stories and repairing our food systems is some of the most critical ecological and ecopsychological work today. I started cooking and gardening when I was a child, and my first job was teaching plant-based cooking at my local food co-op when I was a teenager. I feel blessed to have worked on so many aspects of the organic food movement, from magazine food writing, teaching, cooking and baking in natural food restaurants, and marketing food for organic food innovators Whole Foods, Amy’s Kitchen, and Patagonia.
My roles: director and lead for marketing and communications; art director on photoshoots; collaborator and off-camera interviewer on video shoots
“We need to be food citizens, not consumers.”
— David Oein, Timeless Natural Foods, in this interview I did with him for Patagonia Provisions
